Even if the kid got suspended, he's still the winner in the long run. Here's why I say that: If he was under 18 when the teacher pushed him into his seat, it's assault on a minor, which carries a nasty jail term...not to mention the kid's parents can sue the fuck out of the school and the teacher will lose his job.
If the kid was over 18 at the time, he can press charges of assault against the teacher and have him arrested AND file a lawsuit with the school board for having his civil rights violated...and for allowing such an aggressive person to work with students. In both cases, he was defending himself; which, even if he was under 18, he is legally allowed to do...and if he was expelled/suspended for it, it's another lawsuit. :-D!
